Google Analytics - List of 'Spam' & Automated Referrals
Automated and spam referrals are becoming an increasingly frustrating problem in Google Analytics. With new sources of automated traffic and spam referrals appearing on an almost daily basis this is now becoming a major issue for many analysts.
Simpler technical solutions - such as using a hostname filter and excluding known spammers - are now having less effect with spammers adjusting hostnames and new referral sources frequently emerging.
